Thoughts & Prayers
I am so truly sorry for your loss. My uncle was the kindest sweetest man I've ever known. I have so many amazing memories of him from the first time I met him at Aunt Gussie & Uncle Al's. He was looking so sharp in his dress uniform. All I could think was "this is the coolest guy I've ever met".
He took us to Shea Stadium to see the "Amazing Mets" with Tom Seaver and Say Hey Willie Mays.
When you would visit us on the weekends no matter how cold or hot it was he'd go out and play with us until dark. We were so incredibly lucky to have him.
I learned about kindness & humility from him. His love for animals was another gift he shared.
He left an amazing legacy in his children and grand children.
We'll miss him but will all cherish the rich and loving memories he left us with.
I'll bet he's out for a really nice walk with his old friend Seagy right now. They have a lot to catch up on.
He will always be my favorite uncle.
I love you all so much.
Nephew Godson & cousin, Rich
