Michael P. Esposito, 43, of Baldwin, New York and a volunteer firefighter in Baldwin passed suddenly in the Line of Duty on May 18, 2011 at South Nassau Communities Hospital after falling ill en route to a house fire. Beloved son of Gerard.  Loving brother of Gerard Jr., Donna, Todd and Dawn .  Cherished uncle of three nephews.  21 year member and Ex-Captain of Hose Co. #1 and Truck Co. #1 of the Baldwin Fire Department.  Reposing at the Fullerton Funeral Home, Inc., 769 Merrick Road, Baldwin, New York on Saturday, 5/21/11 from 7-9 pm and Sunday, 5/22/11 from 2-4 pm.  Viewing on Sunday, 5/22/11 from 7-9 pm at St. Christopher's Church in Baldwin.  County Wide Firematic Service at St. Christopher's Church on Sunday, 5/22/11 at 8 pm.  Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, 5/23/11 9:45 am at St. Christopher's Church.  Interment Greenfield Cemetery in Uniondale, NY.  In lieu of flowers, donations to the Nassau County Burn center or the American Heart Association, would be appreciated.

Mike was very good to me when my husband Pete passed in Jan. 2010, his kind words will always be remembered. My thoughts and prayers are with your family in this most sorrowful time.

My thoughs and prayers go out to all of Michael's family and friends. He was way too young to leave us, but his short life was not in vain. Being a volnteer fireman is a selfless and most worthy job. God Bless.
