Margaret M. Mayce, 93 (Peggy), of Kendall Park, New Jersey, died Monday, July 23, 2012 at home surrounded by her loving family. Born in Manhatten, she was a resident of Freeport, New York before moving to Kendall Park in 1989. Peggy was the administrative assistant at the Freeport Memorial Library for over 20 years. She was a member of the Catholic Daughters for over 50 years as well as a parishioner at Our Holy Redeemer R.C. Church. She was predeceased by her husband, the late Richard Thomas Mayce. She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Richard K. and Barbara Mayce; four daughters, Sr. Margaret M. Mayce, OP, Marie R. Mayce, Kate O'Donnell and Mary Louise Mayce; and two grandchildren, Elizabeth Mayce O'Donnell and Kevin R. Mayce. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 9:45 a.m. on Thursday, July 26, 2012 at Our Holy Redeemer Church, Ocean Avenue, Freeport, NY. Burial will follow in Long Island National Cemetery. Farmingdale, NY. Friends may call on Wednesday, July 25, 2012 from 7-9 p.m. at the Fullerton Funeral Home, Inc., 769 Merrick Road, Baldwin, New York. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Sisters of Saint Dominic, 555 Albany Avenue, Amityville, NY 11701.
