Harry J. Blank, Jr., of Baldwin, New York and Singer Island, Florida passed away peacefully on June 2, 2015 at the age of 96 surrounded by his loving family. Raised in Bellmore he attended Baldwin H.S. and Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, where he studied Engineering. He became President of Zophar Mills Inc. of Brooklyn, NY retiring after 50 years of service. He was an accomplished musician and bandleader of the Revelers with his own radio show on WGBB in Freeport in the 1930’s, an avid boater, skilled athlete and President of the Brooklyn Kiwanis Club. As the longtime patriarch he treasured spending time with his loved ones and presiding over family gatherings. Beloved husband of the late Azalia F. Loving father of Kathleen H. Thelian (John) of Garden City, New York, Harry J. Blank, III (Lori) of Sayville, New York, Mary Ellen Blank of West Islip, New York and the late John F. Blank. Dear brother of Marilyn Brooks and the late Robert. Cherished grandfather of John, Kenneth, Michael, Andrew, Jessica, Kathleen, Tyler, Jillian, step grandsons Michael & James and 10 great-grandchildren. Longtime companion of Marjorie Bronsdon. Reposing at the Fullerton Funeral Home, Inc., 769 Merrick Rd., Baldwin, New York. Mass of Christian Burial will bw on Monday, June 8, 2015, 9:45 a.m. at St. Christopher’s Church in Baldwin, New York. Interment will follow at Greenfield Cemetery in Uniondale, New York. Visiting will be on Saturday, June 6, 2015 from 2-4 p.m. & 7-9 p.m. and Sunday, June 7, 2015 from 2-4 p.m. & 7-9 p.m. fullertonfhny.com
