Thoughts & Prayers

I have heard so many Dan Tracy stories that I wish I had the privilege to work with him. I always seemed to be a step behind. But the man moved so fast it was an impossibility to catch up! I had many a fire with the gentleman but few times to talk with him. A finer man the FDNY will never see. I'm sure he's glad to be back with his wife, Shirley, and dancing once again!

Without exception, Dan was the finest man I ever had the privilage and honor to work along side of during the "war years" in Brownsville. May his soul be at rest along with that of his daughter's, Maureen.

Dear Tracy family,
I would like to express my deepest sympathy for your loss. I never had the pleasure of meeting your dad, but I did have the pleasure of corresponding with him on our family history. He will always be in our thoughts and prayers.
